FAQsI've seen other companies charge me $110, $150, or even over $200 a set. You can't really deliver me a customized pro-quality uniform for $74. Actually we've been doing it for a while, with no sacrifice on quality, no tricks, no hidden costs. We just run a leaner operation with fewer middlemen. Now you can afford the uni's you thought your budget freeze was going to force you to live without -- or even do both home and aways for what you had budgeted for just one. Why would you do that if you could get away with charging more like other sellers? Because we believe schools and athletes deserve a break. For real. That's pretty impressive, although I had a kind of interesting offer from A_____ and N___ too. You should hear some of the stories we've heard from coaches about the hidden strings the big guys attach, like tournament restriction clauses, or the money they make back on you again on the shoes they make you buy, or other catches like that. We don't just give you a great deal, we keep it above board and out in the open. And this is the good stuff, right? No silkscreening or heat press or sublimation? Nothing but top-quality materials, sewn custom tackle-twill embroidery, and patch logos, with a two-year defects warranty, although many teams have been using them for much longer. For best lifetime, be sure to follow the washing instructions. I really liked a style you had on your site, but my girls want a racerback cut, we wanted to adjust one of the trim details to match our last style, we'd like individual names, and I wish it could have a tab neck with a small "C" logo we have instead. Then it'll happen. We customize it all for you -- for free. No hidden fees for the embroidery, redesigns, or logo patches, it's included. And free shipping to the western region (just a flat $75 on team orders to the other states, including any warmups). I don't really know the materials well. Any suggestions? We generally suggest tri-fit as a good all-around breathable base material, though the checker and shiny versions are pretty catchy, and microshiny works well for trims (it's like a durable dazzle without the line effect). Dri-fit is probably better for football and hockey uses, and we normally recommend reserving micromesh as a liner. Remember these are just different weaves but all a quality polyester. There are photos on the site, and we can discuss the others when you ask. For what it's worth, though, don't stress out too much over the choices. If you're stuck between say regular tri-fit versus checker or heavy mesh, you're really still going to end up with a set of great-looking quality suits no matter what. Do you do other sports besides basketball? Hoop's what we do the most, shooters/warmups included, but we also do football, softball, hockey, baseball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, and coaches' gear. Well, those prices look great for the team order, but what are you going to charge me on replacements later if I need those? The per-piece price, nothing more, and no minimums. Are your suits NFHS compliant? I had a problem with some sets somebody else made me once. All but a tiny handful of the less-used designs. We know the regs pretty well, and we would try to warn you if something you liked or a change you were requesting had an issue (it's even possible to make a few non-compliant details in-bounds), but that's rarely a problem. If you have any questions, just ask. I got burned once before by bad customer service. Are you really going to be there for us? We want you happy, and we're committed to try to work with you no matter what. We stand behind our stuff, and even if you made a mistake on your end and realized it too late, we'd still try to find a way to help and work things out somehow. How complicated is it to do this? It can be as easy as telling us your school name, colors, and mascot. If you don't have a favorite style from the website choices, We'll email you a couple of sketches to look over, think about, and pick from. And nothing starts till you're 100% happy with the design. If you like them and want to place the order, give us final approval on both the proof and the sizes/numbers list (not just the PO, we need you to approve both those items). I tried and tried and tried, but I can't seem to find a logo file anywhere, and nobody at my small school has any ideas. Those are really your safest bet for quality, but in a pinch we've managed to help strapped people work from even photos or faxes; we can't work miracles, but sometimes we've come close. (It's still best to try to find a decent-quality computer file though.) When should I get started? To play it safe with season starts, always get on the ball early. We usually get strong demand, and our standard order time runs 6 to 10 weeks, depending on volume. If it's going to be tight, we can sometimes work with emergencies, so give us a call and see what we could at least try for. But even though life gets busy, always try to be ahead of the curve if you can no matter who you're working with. So if you do this a lot, what other kinds of advice would you give me? One right off might be that it's pretty common for people to do reorders, and if you're thinking of getting that one or two extra suits, it'd be better to get them with your order than wait (sadly theft sometimes happens, so an extra might not hurt). Our prices put them in reach, and industry dye lots can sometimes vary in cycles which can run from a year to a few months, so though it's rarely bad, any manufacturer can run into slight color variations over time. Another might be, remember to keep your numbers within NFHS guidelines (only digits 0-5); people don't slip often and we try to catch you if you do, but prevention's better than cure. And always look over the proofs we send you carefully to make sure everything's exactly how you like it, remembering we won't place the order before your final okay. But if you really do your homework, look forward to an A+ on your gear. That's actually helpful info, but I've still got a good obscure question I bet you haven't run into yet. Then pick up the phone and stump us -- we'd look forward to talking! |
